A thorough discussion of the physiological benefits and challenges of training at high altitude are presented in the Education section of this website.
The coaching services at High Altitude Cycling are geared for living and training at altitude. Research has shown that training at altitude (usually defined as an elevation above roughly 5,000 feet) is not a one-size fits all approach. There is individual variation in a person's response to acclimatization to living at altitude that relate to genetics, age, gender, fitness, nutritional status, athletic history and current training plan.
Together, we will develop an individualized training plan based on your personal goals. I have the knowledge and resources for us to achieve those goals.
